The world needs to clean up its act

-

Yes; Mr. Gregory I also believe in global warming. I do have a problem with the righteous pointing fingers at the USA instead of the world at large. The USA has reduced our carbon footprint by 25% and is the only country to attain 1990 CO2 levels.

In my teen years, I was taught of acid rain in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Reducing our carbon footprint has eliminated this problem, in Tennessee. But now the acid rain problem is defoliating and killing trees in the Sierra Nevadas. The culprit of the pollution does not seem to be the USA, but China, India, and others who are not trying to reduce their footprint; but seem intent on increasing it.

China with 3,000 coal power plants in the building process and the Olympics had to be rescheduled for clean air. India should reformulate their diesel to No.1 instead of the polluting mass you see on TV. All this unclean burned fuel floats to us here in California. Add to it the Biden Administration shuts down our regulated industries but promotes pipelines and natural gas generation in other countries; also selling our coal to China which has the micro-elements needed for new tech batteries and such in our coal. Clean up the world’s act and you will clean up ours.
