There are more than two parties

In “Man in search of a political party,” Jeff Saine bemoans the state of the two dominant political parties, then asks,

“So, to what party do I link my political affilation?” I have the answer for him: Register with The Green Party, or the Libertarian Party, or the Constitution Party. And there are others. American citizens need to wake up and see that Democrats and Republicans alike are beholden to (and bought by) the rich and the corporations and actually care very little about the plight of non-rich citizens and noncorporate entities. They’re too busy getting rich (or richer) to care.
