MILDRED LOIS KOMBRINK

Mildred Lois Kombrink passed away at the age of 91. Mildred was born in Yonkers, New York to

parents Paul and Henrietta Hahn. She attended Roosevelt high school in St. Louis, Missouri while attending finishing school and modeling.

She married Donald E. Kombrink in 1949. They had four children and lived in Iowa and the bay area for most of their marriage.

After her husband’s passing, she moved to the mountains below Forbstown and lived on 10 acres, with a large dogwood grove for 30 plus years.

Mildred moved to Chico where she met and married her second husband, William Lorack.

Mildred was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society as a Board Member and Chairwoman.

She was a member of the Eastern Star and was awarded the Dr. Rob Morris Award. She was also active with the Red Hat Society and Parents Without Partners.

She enjoyed working in the woods, knitting, baking and boating on the Mississipp­i River, Puget Sound and Lake Oroville.

She is survived by her brother, 3 daughters, five grandchild­ren and three great grandchild­ren.

Mildred had a true love for life! She will be missed!! No services will be held per her request. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
