Two juveniles allegedly involved in a robbery

Chico police set on Sunday afternoon officers arrested two juvenile males for allegedly strong-armed robbery.

Police say at about 12:36 PM on Sunday they responded to the 200 block of W. East Avenue Ave. where a reporting party claimed two juvenile boys entered the store and try to steal merchandise.

The reporting party told police that when the store clerks confronted them a struggle ensued and the suspects forced their way past the clerks with the stolen merchandise.

One of the clerks reportedly sustained a minor injury and was treated by medical staff.

After police arrived they conducted an area check and allegedly located two individuals matching the descriptions on W. Lindo Ave. near Holly Avenue.

Police say they detained both suspects and arrested them both for robbery, but were cited and released to their parents.
