The LA County Medical Examiner has confirmed to news outlets that up-and-coming Hollywood actor Daniel Mickelson’s death on July 4was due to a drug overdose that involved a fatal mix of fentanyl and cocaine. With these findings, the 23-yearold actor becomes the latest person to die in a high-profile accidental drug overdose involving fentanyl, Page Six reported. Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that can be 50times more powerful than heroin. It’s also cheaper to produce and distribute, the New York Times reported.
