SHIRLEY GILBERT

Shirley Gilbert was the beloved wife of 63 years to "Blackie" Gilbert. Shirley was a world traveler by the time she was 8 years old living in 5 different countries.

She went to school and graduated from Chico State College, now CSUC and was in Sigma Kappa.

Shirley passed in August at 90 years old and is survived by her brother Tom Fox, sister Ann Jeffries and her daughters Marcie, Lynn and Stacy and their families.

Her memorial service will be held on October 2nd at 1:00pm at Glen Oaks Memorial Park at the Veterans Court of Honor.

Donations may be made in Shirley’s name to the Chico Friends of the Library in care of Brusie Funeral Home.
