Teach how to think, not what to think

-

This country is divided, and the differences are irreconcilable. Too many of our freedoms are being misappropriated. Freedom of speech doesn’t exist if there’s a subjective list of disallowed, “offensive” words and phrases.

The right to bear arms is worthless if there are bureaucratically mandated restrictions. The federal government has its duties and responsibilities spelled out in the Constitution. Everything else belongs to the states, including birth control practices.

The primary excuse for government to exist is to protect its citizens from harm. This includes enforcing laws written for that purpose. It also includes maintaining control over its borders.

It does not include invading another country if its culture seems offensive. This country has its own laws and culture. Legal immigrants should adjust accordingly. Anyone not legally admitted should be sent home.

Freedom requires equality of opportunity, not outcome. You want your heart surgeon selected by affirmative action? How about your United Airlines pilot?

Schools are for teaching how to think, not what to think.

Climate change and Wuhan Flu are handy excuses for the establishment to increase its power.

How we got here is a result of too many compromises. Compromise is meaningless if one party keeps stepping backward toward the tar pits.

Not everyone thinks these truths are self-evident.

Jan. 6 was just a demonstration, not an insurrection.

You want to see an insurrection?

Just wait until after the next Wuhan welfare checks come.

Unless all this legal grass makes everyone too mellow to rise up in anger.
