EDWARD “ED” JAMES BURNS

Edward “Ed” James Burns was born March 24, 1954 and died in Chico, California on October 7, 2021 at the age of 67 years.

Ed was born in Helena, Montana to JB and Josephine Burns and moved to Oroville, CA at a young age.

Ed was the proud founder of JB’s Bar and Grill, JB’s Beverage and Bar Catering, Joe’s Bar, Panama Bar and Café, Quackers, and finally purchasing the Studio Inn Lounge.

Ed was proud to be part of the local community and was a member in various organizations over the years. He was an amazing husband and father and will be remembered for his entertaining stories, caring nature, and dedication to his family. Ed is preceded in death by his parents, JB and Josephine Burns, and his sister Linda Kelly of Oroville, CA. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda, daughter Karlee, and son Tyler, all of Chico, CA, and brother Daniel Burns of Oroville, CA. A celebration of life to share
