In Friday’s Oct. 22, 2021, Chico Enterprise-Record story, “Potential mental health facility in Paradise runs afoul with residents,” it was reported that Adventist Health and a group led by Chico developer Dough Gullion were in a escrow on the Feather Canyon Retirement Center. But Adventist Health spokesperson Maureen Wisener said that it is a totally separate business entity and the building and the property are not owned by Adventist Health. The property owners have a right of way easement to access their property through the Adventist Health Feather River campus, Wisener said.
