Seek balanced views on Russia, Ukraine

-

Ukraine is desperate for a US imposed “no fly zone” and hideous tales and images of “Russian atrocities” are necessary to cause more outrage so the public demands intervention.

First, was the Mariupol maternity hospital bombing, then the Mariupol theatre bombing. These were likely staged, and yet did not generate enough outrage to get the West to start WWlll. Now we are shown the Bucha killings, also likely staged.

April 4 Reuters reported, “The U.S. military is not in a position to independently confirm Ukrainian accounts of atrocities by Russian forces against civilians in the town of Bucha,” Also satellite images can easily be manipulated.

Russian forces withdrew from Bucha on March 30. The smiling mayor of Bucha publicly declared the area free of Russian forces on March 31. The bodies of dead civilians were only shown for the first time on April 3.

Always to be considered is who benefits. Ukraine needs atrocities to create the outrage and sympathy to force the West to respond with planes.

Establishment media has to protect its narrative, Ukraine good, Russia evil. For a balanced view read Consortium News’ “Questions Abound

About Bucha massacre,” also check out the Moon of Alabama award winning blog, useful for fact checking the NYT.

GW Bush was more guilty of “crimes against humanity” than Putin. Obama, too, was responsible for far more killing than Putin, considering his violent regime change in Libya, attempted violent regime change in Syria, and aiding Saudi Arabia in the deaths of 233,000 Yeminis.
