Here’s who damages our local environment

I promised myself I was retired from wasting my time in this forum, but Patrick Newman’s comments are just outrageous, and someone needs to say so.

His recent letter makes comparisons to keeping junkies from occupying city plaza for a couple months, and the holocaust. I am not even going to touch that, I will let readers make up their mind on that one. He later explains the bitter irony of Earth Day and the omniscient ways in which we could save the environment if everyone listened to him. Wake up call buddy, your “friends on the street” are literally destroying our environment right in front of your eyes.

Take a walk around what were once pristine parks, creeks, rivers, that have become landfills. Stop with the self important lectures Patrick. You are not Mother Teresa, you enable junkies to keep being junkies, and that is nothing to be proud of.
