2 who died in suspected overdose identified

OROVILLE » Two men who were pronounced dead at Community Park on Sunday from a suspected overdose have been identified.

Sheriff Kory Honea confirmed Chico resident Corbin Clover, 49, and Chico resident Thomas Alberitton, 53, died on Sunday.

Autopsies for the men are being performed Wednesday and results for the cause of death will not be conclusive until the autopsy and toxicology reports are done which won’t come for a while, Honea said.

The overdose incident involved a total of four people at Community Park. The two other people involved were sent to Enloe Medical Center and one person was released Monday.
