New sports bar opens at Gold Country
OROVILLE » Those interested in watching live sports games in Oroville will have a new sports bar in which to watch their favorite games.
Gold Country Casino Resort will be holding a grand opening of Game Tyme Sports Bar and Grille at 3 p.m. today. Happy hour will take place from 3 to 6 p.m., which features a meet and greet and signing with former 49ers running back Roger Craig from 4 to 6 p.m. Shots of Patron tequila will be served by Patron girls from 5 to 9 p.m.
At 7 p.m., the bar will host a viewing party for the Benavidez vs. Lemieux Championship boxing match.
Gold Country Casino Resort will also be giving away tickets to see a Bay Area Major League Baseball team play in June.
The Bar and Grille features a 22-foot-long selfserve tap well, multiple flat screen televisions and a huge 22-foot 4K HDTV to watch all of the games in one place.
On Mondays, the Bar and Grille will host Movie Mondays featuring classic sports movies. Tuesday is Trivia Night with. Thirsty Thursdays feature $15 domestic pitchers all night long.
“We are happy to debut Game Tyme Sports Bar and Grille, as Oroville’s only sports bar venue,” said Gold Country Casino Resort Marketing Director Bryan Prettyman.
