Many questions that deserve pondering
I continually have questions and seek answers.
Why do we have labels for people?
Why do we have different ethnic organizations and government bodies that start with a foreign country: African America, Asian American, Latino Chamber of Commerce, Mexican American?
When will we not to see the color of people but rather see their personality and attributes?
Why do we claim that many “shooters” are mental ill yet allow them to buy assault weapons?
Why do we label some as mentally ill yet don’t build new mental hospitals or make laws that will protect them?
Why do we continually vote in people who don’t protect us nor have our physical health as an important part of their job?
Why do we now feel it is OK to tell people different than ourselves how to live their personal lives?
Why is American the only country to have road rage?
Why do we no longer have peaceful protest but now have violent protest?
Why are manners and civility no longer a part of the American life?
Why is nothing ever our fault but always someone else’s?
Why can’t we help each other rather than try to tear each other down?
Why can we no longer listen? When will we all just be Americans and care for each other and love our country?
