Katie Veazey recently left a secure, salaried job to pursue her own personal training and CrossFit coaching business. “It has been one of the most rewarding decisions I have made, and I feel like I am finally able to make an impact on others’ lives,” she says.
As for modeling for this powerlifting article — piece of cake. “I incorporate Olympic lifts into my own workouts all the time,” she says. “They are great regardless if your goal is performance or aesthetics, since they recruit so many muscles.” Some of her best lifts? “My current squat clean is 180 pounds, and my front squat is 210 pounds.”
