She became a personal trainer, blogger and author and has been at it for eight years. “I love to write about things that are inspiring, informative and that help others learn or grow,” she says.
Gym-side, McShane loves high-intensity interval training such as sprints and trail running and is proud to have improved her pull-ups. There is one move she still finds loathsome, however: “I hate dips!” she says, laughing. “I don’t like admitting it because it means I have a muscular weakness, but I hate dips. There, I said it!”
