Thinking about Rodgers’ health and MVP pursuit
A recent Packer Plus issue dealt, to a great extent, with the likelihood of Aaron Rodgers winning the 2018 NFL MVP award. Wonderful! A great tribute to Aaron. I most sincerely hope it happens for him and our beloved Packer team — a historically legendary football franchise to bring pride, appreciation, and honor to President Murphy, Coach Mike, General Manager Brian G., and the rest of our coaches and associates.
But my concern is, though Aaron is so gifted, with his two broken and metal pinned clavicles, whether he can withstand the possible hits and punishment defenses will unleash on him? Secondly, has our brass
provided enough protection for him to avoid and escape this situation?
Looking at our offensive line it looks quite good! But there are weaknesses and uncertainties which I think it better to omit stating.
So more than the MVP pursuit, I am most concerned with Rodgers lasting uninjured throughout the season and not have a rookie QB take over in the middle which would be quite a disaster. Cross our fingers.
The best to the Plus, our Pack, and our lusty fans out there. Let’s have some football!
