Tired of the charade

Packer Plus - - News - Greg Molle Minneapolis

After another deplorable performance against the lowly Detroit Lions, should Packer Nation really be surprised? Heck, Mike McCarthy didn’t look surprised… hardly bothered actually. All Mike needs is that laminated play sheet that keeps him from the reality of what’s really happening on the field.

Since 2010, Mike and the Packer front office has been masterful at allowing the media and the fans to believe that we don’t really need coaching that can develop a complete TEAM – especially a defense, we have Aaron Rodgers! If only Aaron can stay healthy…. After 8 years does any of this look familiar?

Falling behind 24-0 after yet another “slow start”

Burning timeouts that we desperately needed before the half and the end of the game because of “play confusion” 12 penalties A soft defense that doesn’t seem to want to play or care (Clay Matthews leading his teammates in laughter on the bench when they are behind 17-0)

Lack of discipline (see 12 penalties, defensive players out of position, and a costly taunting penalty by a rookie when we are behind by 16 points)

Terrible special teams play And of course, after the game it’s golly shucks… if only that penalty didn’t happen, if only that kick was made.

By the way, in case you have forgotten, the Green Bay office and Coach Mike told us that we didn’t need to keep these guys: Jordy Nelson, Casey Hayward, Micah Hyde and Jared Cook.

Or acquire any of these players: Khalil Mack, Earl Thomas, Richard Sherman or Dez Bryant (heck we let Jordy (Nelson) go…how does this make sense?).

It’s ironic (not), that (Casey) Hayward and (Micah) Hyde became “all-pro” AFTER they left the Packers. Every single year it’s Aaron Rodgers this, Aaron Rodgers that… blah, blah blah. Isn’t anyone else sick and tired of this charade? Well guess what, that gig may be finally up. After yesterday, it’s apparent that Aaron Rodgers doesn’t walk on water.
