Who is calling the plays?

Packer Plus - - News -

The first half score 21–17 betrays how badly our Packer offense is mismanaged! Though, there was a mixture of successful runs and passes. But re-examining it more accurately, it was pretty much: “Bombs away!” for 3 TDs.

In the second half, the run plays were dissed. No one knew what happened to run plays to Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams. Instead we saw Aaron Rodgers dancing around in the pocket over and over again trying to find an open receiver, exposing himself to being mauled or breaking out trying to find a receiver or throwing the ball away, and no change in our offense strategy!

I kept saying to myself who is calling these horrible plays, Rodgers or Mike McCarthy. A discouraging and depressing spectacle!

Coach McCarthy should not take all the blame for the 2nd half debacle. What are the wide receiver coaches doing? What about self-teaching by the WRs themselves? Creating and running separating routes and turning away from defenders is not rocket science. What do those players and coaches do weeks in and weeks out? Self-teaching too hard and strenuous? Go – Big, Big G. Antonio N. Monaco Chicago
