Reception celebrates Meat Market exec’s NYC run for Autism Speaks
Sebastien Tribout of Meat Market has a lot of friends, and it seemed as if every single one of them turned out to wish him well as he faces the New York City Marathon.
Yep, the New York City Marathon, with its official motto of “Because the Restaurant Biz Isn’t Grueling Enough.”
OK, that’s not really the motto.
The reception, which also served as an informal fundraiser for Autism Speaks, took place Sept. 20.
Christina Sagman, Maribel Alvarez and Marla Garchik were chairwomen for the evening, which included Tito’s specialty cocktails; hors d’oeuvres from Chef Sean Brasel; a raffle; and a silent auction items including an Emilio Pucci silk scarf, carved green onyx drop earrings from Hamilton Jewelers, 100 grams of Russian osetra from Black River Caviar and a 23-year-old bottle of Pappy Van Winkle bourbon.
Josh Sagman was chairman.
More than 100 people attended, including Jessica and Charles Simpson, Shelley Menin, Carter Pottash, Paco Gil, Molly and Warren Robbins, Elle Dillon, Brandy Billinghurst, and Gita and Mark Costa.
Tribout is donating all sponsorship money for his marathon run to Autism Speaks. To contribute, visit his page at here.
