Robert Kennedy Jr. event kicks off book fest

The Palm Beach Book Fes­ti­val has hopped from venue to venue since au­thor Lois Ca­hall founded it in 2015.

The fes­ti­val has been held all over West Palm Beach, in­clud­ing the Nor­ton Mu­seum, Palm Beach Dra­ma­works, Palm Beach At­lantic Univer­sity, Har­riet Him­mel The­ater and the Palm Beach County Con­ven­tion Cen­ter.

But it might have found a per­ma­nent home far­ther south — at Flor­ida At­lantic Univer­sity’s Boca Ra­ton cam­pus. The 2019 fes­ti­val will be held there in mid-March, or­ga­niz­ers an­nounced Mon­day. The ex­act dates haven’t been de­ter­mined yet. The au­thor lineup will be re­vealed in De­cem­ber and tick­ets will go on sale Jan. 4.

Be­fore then, the part­ners will present a lec­ture and book sign­ing on Nov. 2 with Robert F. Kennedy Jr. at FAU’s Univer­sity Theatre in Boca Ra­ton, at 777 Glades Road.
