ORGANIZE: WE HAVE WORK TO DO. Even though this next month is laced with holiday preparations, we need to make good use of an unusually competent and industrious time. Work can be therapeutic, but it may not create the most emotionally intimate environment. Mars in collective Aquarius keeps us focused on public or shared goals; Venus in Capricorn can leave us depressed if we feel useless but may loan us courage and determination if we’re working toward a clear goal.

There will be a lot of “truth” slung about with Mercury now in outspoken but not introspective Sagittarius, where it encourages us to be honest, direct, and sensible — and potentially tactless. What we see as truth may only be a partial picture.

We may not be not thinking too clearly as Friday begins and may feel vulnerable as thoughtful Mercury squares sensitive Neptune under a Cancer moon. The moon heads into more extroverted, outgoing Leo through the weekend. We may begin to let go of some of the tension of the last few months and ramble, gossip, share notes, laugh, or pray together; we may also remember something key about who we are and where we want to go in the future.

On Monday the energizing sun joins thoughtful Mercury in Sagittarius and begins the holiday season. Midweek we may have too many pots boiling on the stove, with interests spread far and wide. A Mercury-Saturn conjunction can help us hold on; we just have to be careful about what we hold on to. Our brains perseverate, and while this encourages us to finish reports, it can also make us worry deep into the night.

Though we’re working to achieve our goals, we may feel those goals tested as Jupiter squares Pluto this week, highlighting a wrangling for power. We have the potential to make great changes in the weeks ahead but need patience to get the timing right.

FRIDAY, NOV. 18: People may feel cranky and tired of making adjustments under a self-protective Cancer moon. We need to talk out our feelings but beware of inappropriately projecting them on others as Mercury squares Neptune. Watch for spilling liquids and fact-check all assumptions. Relax tonight. SATURDAY, NOV. 19: We’d love some magic today as Venus sextiles Neptune. We may feel unusually warmhearted and adventurous and meander spontaneously into intriguing gatherings. Keep the schedule loose and engage in heart-opening or vista-expanding opportunities. SUNDAY, NOV. 20: Revel in connections and instigate ways to make the future better as the moon in Leo forms a grand trine with Saturn (stability) and Uranus (transformation). Be the source of change. MONDAY, NOV. 21: We’re called back to work, but it can be hard to concentrate with new plans and reactions exploding like popcorn. We may feel distracted by too much information and that can make us nervous under an industrious Virgo Moon. Prioritize and stay on track. TUESDAY, NOV. 22: Lines of communication open up as Mercury sextiles Jupiter. Many factors bounce off one another; and a nervy, worried edge can bring out stress-related humor. WEDNESDAY, NOV. 23: Make decisions as Mercury conjuncts Saturn. We may feel nervous in the morning but have the wherewithal to crunch numbers and catch up on emails. This afternoon a Libra moon stirs a debate on what is fair, equitable, and legal. THURSDAY, NOV. 24: We make progress this morning but may see evidence of new plot twists and strange power trips as Pluto squares Jupiter. Midday can bring an emotional roller coaster; let’s be there for one another.
