A program of short operas at the Scottish Rite Center; Santa Fe Desert Chorale sings at Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi; the Gluey Brothers play the Railyard Plaza; and pianist Juho Pohjonen gives a concert at St. Francis Auditorium

Joshua Habermann conducts the Santa Fe Desert Chorale in a wide-ranging program that includes Poulenc’s chamber cantata Un soir de neige; works by William Byrd, Arvo Pärt, Veljo Tormis, and Gideon Klein (among many others); and arrangements of African-American spirituals. The concert begins at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 1, at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi (131 Cathedral Place).
