Center’s Review Santa Fe
Center, the Santa Fe-based advocate for international photography, has a host of new events lined up for its annual festival of photographic arts this fall. The festival, Review Santa Fe, is a top-tier global juried photo event, and while its portfolio reviews are among the main reasons photographers attend the event, it offers a lot more.
Review Santa Fe runs from Wednesday, Oct. 25, through Sunday, Oct. 29, and includes the following free public events: artist talks on Friday, Oct. 27, from 12:30 to 4 p.m. at the Drury Plaza Hotel (828 Paseo de Peralta); a portfolio viewing also takes place on Oct. 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Farmers Market Pavilion (1607 Paseo de Peralta); and more artist talks are scheduled at the Drury on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Center also highlights the contributions of photographers who are luminaries of the art form. This year’s honoree is renowned
photographer Sam Abell. The event, at the Drury, at 7 p.m. on Oct. 28, includes a reception, dinner, and presentation by Abell and is open to festival reviewers, photographers, and members of the community. Tickets are $121.50 for Center members and festival pass holders and $135 for non-members.
