Simon Stephens’ The Curious Incident of the Dog in the NightTime

is based on Mark Haddon’s 2003 coming-of-age novel that is told from the point of view of a teenage boy on the autism spectrum. The theatrical version uses the magic of acting — and plenty of technical tricks — to convey the sensory overload that Christopher experiences as he tries to find out who murdered the neighbor’s dog. continues 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 20, at the Santa Fe Playhouse (142 E. De Vargas St.) with additional performances through Aug. 5, Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $25 (discounts available); gala performance on Saturday, July 21, is $30.
