Fol­low­ing the Inca trail: Santa Fe Desert Cho­rale

On Thurs­day, Aug. 2, at 8 p.m., Joshua Haber­mann di­rects the Santa Fe Desert Cho­rale in a program of mu­sic com­posed or per­formed at the Je­suit mis­sions of Peru, Bo­livia, Chile, and Ar­gentina dur­ing the 17th and 18th cen­turies. Juan de Araujo and Juan Gu­tiér­rez de Padilla are the most rec­og­niz­able names among these ob­scure com­posers. An in­stru­men­tal en­sem­ble from the Caminos del Inka project as­sists.
