Keys to the kingdom: Serenata of Santa Fe
The four volumes of Bach’s Clavier-Übung contain some of his finest music for harpsichord and organ. In its season-opening program, Serenata of Santa Fe presents keyboard players Kathleen McIntosh and Ron McKean, who perform music drawn from volumes two and three of that collection, including the French Overture (BWV 831), the much-loved Italian Concerto, and nine movements from the German Organ Mass. The concert takes place at First Presbyterian Church, 208 Grant Ave., at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 30. Tickets ($20-$40) can be had through serenataofsantafe.org or at the door.
