Elizabeth Hahn: Rozie’s Epic Journey 2018, acrylic on panel
Pippin Contemporary, 409 Canyon Road, 505-795-7476 In Living Color, a group exhibition featuring works by gallery artists, continues through Oct. 9. In Living Color is a showcase of painting, sculpture, and kinetic art, united by vibrant use of color, tactile qualities, and bold and vivid forms. Included are Elizabeth Hahn’s narrative compositions, often of women seen below the waist engaged in activities where glimpses of tantalizing details always suggest more is going on than meets the eye, and Rob Lorenson’s monochromatic aluminum sculpture, as well as works by Greg Reiche, Rebecca Haines, Phyllis Kapp, and others. The show opens with a 5 p.m. reception.
