For more than 40 years, Coupon shot ethnographic imagery as well as iconic figures in music, politics, sports, and the arts, including Miles Davis, Muhammad Ali, and Keith Haring. He’s traveled the world photographing Quechua people in Bolivia, Moroccan Berbers, and New Guinea tribesmen. Coupon’s works have appeared in The Washington Post, The Economist, People, and other publications. The gallery hosts a reception at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 8, and Coupon signs copies of his monograph during the event.
