New Mexico Performing Arts Society presents a Winter Solstice Concert

Franz Vote conducts members of the New Mexico Bach Chorale and an instrumental sextet in works by Heinrich Isaac, Domenico Scarlatti, Johann Sebastian Bach (Part II of his Christmas Oratorio), and a selection of ancient carols. Soprano Esther Moses Bergh is featured in Richard Strauss’ Christmas song “Die heiligen drei Könige” (The Three Holy Kings). The Winter Solstice Concert, presented by New Mexico Performing Arts Society, takes place at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24, at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel, 50 Mt. Carmel Road.
