New Mexico History Museum, 113 Lincoln Ave., 505-476-5200 The exhibition Atomic Histories continues through May 27, 2019. The show looks at the advancement of nuclear technology in New Mexico since the waning days of World War II and through the Cold War into the present day, highlighting stories of both fame and infamy. The exhibit considers pioneering work in physics, chemistry, and other scientific fields that occurred in places like the Los Alamos National Laboratories, and more ominous histories, such as those represented by the Manhattan Project. The show features two large-scale installations by artist Meridel Rubenstein: Critical Mass and Oppenheimer’s Chair.
