The seminal show, produced by The Embroiderers’ Guild of America, is a national juried exhibition that features 46 works by 33 artists. Related events include a demonstration of colcha embroidery by Julia Gomez and Annette Gutierrez-Turk at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 13; lectures on women in the arts by artist Maggie Muchmore at 1 p.m. on Sept. 21; and the Egyptian embroidery of Akhmim village at 1 p.m. on Sept. 28. The exhibit and events are sponsored by the Pajarito chapter of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America. The show is currently on view and is up through Oct. 5.
