Fuller Lodge Art Center, 2132 Central Ave., Los Alamos, 505-662-1635, fullerlodg­ The traveling exhibit Through the Needle’s Eye isa representa­tive showcase for the best in traditiona­l and contempora­ry needlework. The seminal show, produced by The Embroidere­rs’ Guild of America, is a national juried exhibition that features 46 works by 33 artists. Related events include a demonstrat­ion of colcha embroidery by Julia Gomez and Annette Gutierrez-Turk at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 13; lectures on women in the arts by artist Maggie Muchmore at 1 p.m. on Sept. 21; and the Egyptian embroidery of Akhmim village at 1 p.m. on Sept. 28. The exhibit and events are sponsored by the Pajarito chapter of the Embroidere­rs’ Guild of America. The show is currently on view and is up through Oct. 5.
