Free wheelchair tennis clinics available
DARTMOUTH — Wheelchair tennis is one of the fastest growing wheelchair sports and played all over the world. Wheelchair tennis clinics are geared toward people with mobility disabilities such as spinal cord injuries, amputees, spinal cord diseases, etc. Attend all clinics or just one! All player levels are welcome!
If you are an able-bodied person interested in volunteering at clinic, please join us at the clinics or contact me for more details.
DATE: Friday night 7:30-9:30 p.m. 5/20.
The clinic is free. All levels of players are welcome to attend. Rackets can be provided if need be. The location of the classes is Dartmouth Indoor Tennis, 757 State Rd, Dartmouth, Mass. 02747
Instructions to be provided by Jim Buck, who has been teaching tennis for 35 years and teaching wheelchair tennis for 20 years; Helped create and operate wheelchair tennis program in Southern California for 10 years.

Central Falls to hold Hall of Fame ceremonies on May 19
CENTRAL FALLS — The Central Falls High School Athletic Hall of Fame Committee is pleased to announce the Class of 2016 that will be inducted into the Central Falls High School Athletic Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony and dinner will be May 19 at Twelve Acres Restaurant in Smithfield. A social hour begins at 6pm followed by dinner at 7pm. Reservations can be made by contacting retired Athletic Director Kathleen Luther 401-639-2519 or kluther12@cox.net. Tickets are $35 per person. No tickets will be sold the night of the event. Deadline to purchase tickets is May 12th 2016.
The Class of 2016 includes Scot Desautel, Mike Goodson, Shelby Maldonado, Tim McGrath Ron Menard, Cindi Rodriguez, Jim Tercyak, John Wilson, and the 2002 boys’ state championship soccer team.
Special recognition for “Warrior for Life” Award include Bob Ferri, Bella-Marie Goes and Pat HamelMarcotte.
