Ir­ish hu­mor tonight to aid his­toric preser­va­tion

LIN­COLN – The his­toric Valen­tine Whit­man House will present a show by Dave Kane called “Jokes My Ir­ish Fa­ther Told Me” on Fri­day, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m.

Kane is known for his fan­tas­tic story telling with a dash of Ir­ish wit. The show will be held at the Lin­coln Se­nior Cen­ter, 150 Old Jenckes Hill Road, Lin­coln. The doors will open at 6:30.

The Friends of the Whit­man House are the host for the evening, and the show is a fundraiser for the 1694 stone-en­der home­stead, lo­cated at 1147 Great Road.
