EAST PROV­I­DENCE – Manuel J. “Manny” De Var­gas, 66, of Vine Street, died Jan­uary 11, 2019. at Rhode Is­land Hospi­tal with his lov­ing fam­ily by his side. He was the hus­band of Karen A. (Merow) De Var­gas for over 32 years. He was born on Septem­ber 7, 1952, the son of Cata­rina (da Rosa) De Var­gas of Paw­tucket and the late Jose De Var­gas. He was a line sup­plier for Honey­well and pre­vi­ously a ware­house worker for Has­bro Toy Com­pany. In ad­di­tion to his wife and mother, he is sur­vived by his daugh­ters; Ash­ley M. Bar­tone of River­side and Keonya Rogers of Con­necti­cut;and three grand­sons, Kay­den, Kili and Hay­den. He was the brother of Rosa Evans of River­side, his twin broth­ers Ge­orge De Var­gas of Paw­tucket and Henry de Var­gas of North Prov­i­dence; and An­thony De Var­gas of Rum­ford. Rel­a­tives and friends are in­vited to at­tend Call­ing Hours on Tues­day from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Re­bello Fu­neral Home and Cre­ma­tory, 901 Broad­way, East Prov­i­dence.
