Assassin’s Creed Odyssey marks the point where Ubisoft has officially turned its series into a big, fat Witcher- style RPG, and I am totally into it. I think I’ll be savoring this till the end of the year.

IL-2 Sturmovik: Cliffs of Dover Blitz is an enhanced edition of the WW2 flight sim, co-developed with fans of the game and modders. Sturmovik was all but abandoned, but this update has given it a new lease of life.

I’ve played American Truck Simulator before, but I’m counting the recent Oregon expansion as a new game. The forests and valleys of the state are a change of scenery, especially compared to the largely desert-based states previously offered, and I’ve fallen back in love with driving big virtual trucks. I’m even considering buying a steering wheel.
