At this point Fort­nite be­comes the most watched game in the world, av­er­ag­ing 139,000 view­ers on Twitch ev­ery week (Ko­taku’s Ce­celia D’Anas­ta­sio noted this was dou­ble the traf­fic of PUBG).

Fort­nite’s re­pu­a­tion as a pop cul­ture phe­nom­e­non was ce­mented in March as Drake, Travis Scott, and JuJu Smith-Schus­ter join megas­treamer Ninja’s broad­cast for a night of vic­tory royales.
