Ubisoft’s historian-bothering apocryphal-’em-up is a pretty big deal, but it gets the short entry this month because it only has seven vikings—notably less than every other entry on this list. For Honor has a childlike enthusiasm that’s hard to resist. It attempts to answer a primal question that has troubled countless great minds for generations: Who would win in a fight between ninjas and pirates? That clarity of purpose, combined with an elegant combat system, makes for an exhilarating game.
