Kathleen Patricia Linden, 77, died on Jan. 27, 2012, in Garfield, Ark. She was born Nov. 1, 1934, in Sioux City, Iowa, to John and Margaret Anderson, the eldest of eight children.

She graduated from Heelan High School where she was a cheerleade­r. She married her first husband, Gary G. Bogenreif, in 1955, in Sioux City, Iowa. They had five children.

She received her degree in radiology at Sacred Heart in Yankton, S.D. Her careers included working as a secretary for the high school principal in Rock Port, and also worked as the director of radiology in Fairfax, Mo., where she retired after over 20 years of service in 1999.

She married Bill Linden on March 23, 1995. The couple retired on Beaver Lake in Garfield, Ark., where they built their dream home together.

She was a queen of the Red Hat Society, a past president of Hobbits, and a past president of the American Businesswo­men’s Associatio­n.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Linden, of the home; children, Gary L. Bogenreif and wife, Sherry, Bill Anders, Lori Wilczek, Julie Umbarger and husband, Mike, and Margee Hendrickso­n and husband, David; stepchildr­en, Theresa Grutz, David Linden and wife, Jill, Tim Linden and wife, Patty, Laura Deskin and husband, Mike, Jim Linden and wife, Kim, and Peggy Linden; 12 grandchild­ren; 12 step-grandchild­ren; six great-grandchild­ren; and 11 step-great-grandchild­ren.

Visitation was Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012, at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel followed by a short memorial service.

Funeral services and burial at a later date in Sioux City, Iowa.
