Monday, May 7

2:25 p.m. Found an open door on a building at the football field.

5:50 p.m. A resident on Reed Street reported battery cables cut and batteries stolen off two riding lawn mowers, a coil taken from an air conditioni­ng unit and tools moved.

5:40 p.m. A resident reported a reckless driver on North Arkansas Highway 94, saying the man had tried to run her off the road and had pointed a gun at her.

Tuesday, May 8

11:45 a.m. A resident reported unauthoriz­ed pickup of a child from the school.

3:40 p.m. Pea Ridge Library officials reported the theft of books by a male who took books from a table in front of the library and left a bag of trash. Subject was located and questioned; the books were returned. No charges were filed.

6 p.m. A resident on Mcnair Street reported damage to her house from a BB; a 14-year-old male from Ford Street was found shooting a BB gun. His parents were warned that it was illegal to discharge a gun in the city limits.

6:03 p.m. A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Michael R. Sullivan, 53, Bentonvill­e, on a Bentonvill­e warrant and for speeding, driving on a suspended driver’s license and no proof of insurance.

7 p.m. A resident of Richards Street reported people in a vacant house. It was discovered that a 14-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy were in the house, the girl said she had permission from the former residents to retrieve some of her clothes that had been left at the house.

Wednesday, May 9

9:34 a.m. Alarm at a residence on Blair Circle

1:40 p.m. A resident on Van Dorn reported two bicycles stolen and two left.

3:53 p.m. Police received a report of a man walking in traffic on Lee Town Road while yelling and acting aggressive­ly towards motorists. As a result of the investigat­ion, Nathaniel James Sheller, 28, Pea Ridge, was arrested for public intoxicati­on, disorderly conduct and refusal to submit. A woman, Melissa L. Sanders, 34, Pea Ridge, arrived on the scene and refused to leave when asked to. She was arrested for disorderly conduct. A juvenile female who arrived on the scene with Sanders was placed in the care of a relative.

5:36 p.m. A disturbanc­e was reported at a residence on Pike Street.

6:38 p.m. Joshua M. Holt, 30, Rogers, was cited for reckless driving after he was observed by an off-duty Little Flock police officer driving at a high rate of speed through Maple Glen subdivisio­n, driving recklessly, leaving the subdivisio­n and returning. When the officer attempted to stop him to talk, he reportedly refused and yelled. Witnesses said there was also a small child in the vehicle.

Friday, May 11

4:29 p.m. A resident on Lynn Drive reported a 15-year-old male was “out of control.” Police were asked to speak to the youth.

5:10 p.m. A resident on Spruce Street reported a stray dog. The dog was picked up and taken to the Pea Ridge Vet Clinic. Later, the dog’s owner, called looking for the dog. She, Jennifer Cole, 37, Pea Ridge, was cited for dog at large.

4 p.m. A two-vehicle accident was reported involving Charakee Dewitt, 17, who backed out of a driveway on John Montgomery Circle and into the side of a Pea Ridge School bus driven by Samuel Finley, 77. Dewitt was cited for driving without a driver’s license. Katlin Patton, 17, Bella Vista, who was a passenger in the vehicle with Dewitt, was cited for permitting unauthoriz­ed persons to drive. There were several students on board the bus, but no injuries were reported. The bus had left the scene before police arrived.

7:53 p.m. A male reported that while he was jogging on Daniel Lane, a small dog kept running at him and barking. Police located the dog and warned the owner about the city ordinance governing dogs.

Saturday, May 12

10:10 a.m. A dog running loose was reported. Police cited Justin A. Graham, 27, Pea Ridge, for dog at large.

Sunday, May 13

8 a.m. While on patrol, saw a large black dog running from Green Street onto Pickens. Police stopped the dog from running into traffic, found the dog’s owner, Charlotte Kay Mc niel , 59 Pea Ridge, and cited her for dog at large.

12:10 p.m. A resident on Mcrae Lane reported she believed someone had entered her residence while she was out of town. Police checked the residence and found no sign of entry or damage.

12:25 p.m. A resident on East Pickens Road reported her 4-year-old grandson had locked her out of the house. She requested police to talk to the child and tell him not to lock her out.

1:43 p.m. Alarm, Pea Ridge High School

2:37 p.m. Alarm, Pea Ridge High School; found an employee on site.

2:47 p.m. Agency assist at a residence on Dale Schrader Road for a 15-year-old female threatenin­g suicide. The youth was transporte­d by ambulance to Northwest Medical for evaluation.

3 p.m. Received a 911 call about a possible disturbanc­e at North Davis Street and East Pickens Road. It was discovered that a couple was arguing.

Monday, May 14

1:25 a.m. A 20-year-old man reported a theft. He said another 20-year-old male called him saying he had run out of gas. Upon arriving at the intersecti­on of Green Street and Pickens Road, he said he saw the man and another male standing on the side of the road but did not see the man’s truck. The victim claimed the man got in his vehicle, grabbed his wallet, taken $350, threw the wallet at him, then ran off. The victim claimed he chased the suspect, but was unable to locate him.

7:45 a.m. Agency assist to Little Flock police.

5:08 p.m. Alarm at a residence on Baker Street
