Gary Alan Black, 60, of Rogers, died Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2012, in Rogers. He was born June 14, 1952, in Peru, Ind., to James Stanley and Dorothy Mogle Black.

Black married Carole Lewis on May 27, 2006.

He managed the hardware and lighting department for Ridout Lumber in Rogers. He previously managed Builders Choice Supply in Rogers. He worked for Kinsley’s Heat and Air in Arizona and was the parts manager for Kenworth in Springdale.

He enjoyed woodworkin­g, square dancing and bowling.

Survivors include his wife, Carole Lewis Black of the home; one daughter, Robin Miller and husband, Mike, of Lincoln; one son, Bryan Black and wife, Holly, of Lincoln; one stepson, Todd Lewis of Fort Worth, Texas; three brothers, Jim Black and wife, Dollie, of Springdale, Jeff Black of Springdale, and Sam Black and wife, Cindy, of Bethel Heights; three sisters, Ann Jeffcoat and husband, Rick, of Pea Ridge, Janet Richey and husband, Harry, of Shelbyvill­e, Ind., and Donna Sue Wilson of Pea Ridge; seven grandchild­ren; and four pets, Dallas, Baylee, Murphee and Charlie (our babies).

Visitation was Thursday from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 31, at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
