Dorsey named bank president

HOLDENVILL­E, Okla. — Trevor Dorsey, former resident of Pea Ridge, was named president of First United Bank in Holdenvill­e, Okla., according to Greg Massey, United Bank CEO. Dorsey replaces Richard Carr who accepted another position First United as Director of Community Banks.

Dorsey earned Bach- elor of Science degrees in Business Management and Sports Management Finance from Southwest Baptist University in 1997. He is also a graduate of the Southweste­rn Graduate School of Banking at SMU.

Dorsey has more than 16 years of banking experience. Prior to joining First United in 2010, he served as president of First National Bank in Holdenvill­e.

“First United is a highly respected banking organizati­on which I’m proud to be associated with and I’m excited about this op- portunity to lead the very capable team in Holdenvill­e,” Dorsey said.

“Trevor’s experience in all aspects of banking will be invaluable to us as we continue to grow in the Holdenvill­e market,” said Massey. He is a great fit for our organizati­on and I believe he is an excellent choice to lead our Holdenvill­e bank,” Massey added.

Dorsey and his wife, Beth Spivey Dorsey, have two sons, Tayton, 5, and Mason, 1. They are very active in First Baptist Church and Holdenvill­e youth sports.
