Monday, Dec. 10

4 p.m. A resident of Lynn Drive reported she accidental­ly threw her wedding rings into the trash, which had since been picked up by the trash company

Wednesday, Dec. 12

12:30 p.m. A resident of Frost Street reported a break-in and claimed items were missing. There were no signs of forced entry.

6:20 p.m. A former resident of McCulloch Street reported criminal mischief at a residence from which she was moving out.

Thursday, Dec. 13

1:20 p.m. A resident of Rogers reported he was receiving harassing phone calls from a resident of Pea Ridge.

2 p.m. School officials reported that a 13-year-old female student received text messages from a 17-year-old male student requesting nude photograph­s of her. The young man and his mother were interviewe­d; he was issued a juvenile court appearance bond for contributi­ng to the delinquenc­y of a juvenile. He was released to his mother’s custody.

2:16 p.m. A resident of Frost Street reported a burglary. No signs of forced entry were found.

5:20 p.m. Police were asked by juvenile probation to look for a missing juvenile from another town who was reportedly at a residence on Blair Circle. The 16-year-old male was found and transporte­d to the Benton County Juvenile Detention Center.

7:11 p.m. A physical disturbanc­e in progress was reported on Hayes Street in the Battlefiel­d Estates subdivisio­n involving three males fighting. As officers responded, a vehicle fled the scene with the suspects and victim inside. After a pursuit down Curtis Avenue, the car was stopped on East Harris. The driver, Alex Shane Curtsinger, 27, West Fork, was arrested for two counts of felony aggravated assault, third-degree battery, driving while license suspended, endangerin­g the welfare of a minor, felony fleeing by vehicle with extreme indifferen­ce, reckless driving and felony parole violation for domestic battery by the Arkansas Board of Parole. A passenger, Jorden Leigh Hoops, 20, of West Fork, was arrested for minor in possession and public intoxicati­on. One passenger, a 17-year-old male from Pea Ridge, was injured while fighting with Curtsinger and treated by Pea Ridge ambulance personnel. He was cited for minor in possession and released to his parents. Another passenger, Cody Yountz, 21, Pea Ridge, was cited for public intoxicati­on and released to his parents.

Friday, Dec. 14

11:20 p.m. An investigat­ion into a physical disturbanc­e in progress at a residence on Frost Street resulted in the arrest of Sammy D. Gargus, 37, Pea Ridge, for third-degree domestic assault; Kimberly Dawn Gargus, 38, Pea Ridge, for public intoxicati­on; and Jessie Lee Gargus, 18, Pea Ridge for thirddegre­e assault on a family member and interferin­g with emergency communicat­ions.

Sunday, Dec. 16

12:25 a.m. A traffic stop resulted in the arrest of David Ray Baker, 52, McCune, Kan., for possession of a controlled substance and driving on a suspended driver’s license.

11:15 p.m. Jessie L. Gargus, 18, Pea Ridge, was arrested for violation of a no-contact order in connection with a physical disturbanc­e Friday when found at the address to which he was told not to return.

Monday, Dec. 17

2:09 p.m. Alarm at TS Tax Solutions. 3 p.m. A resident of North Arkansas Highway 94 reported she had caught a dog that had been running loose in the area for several weeks and fighting with her dogs. Police took the dog to the Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.

3:20 p.m. A two-vehicle accident on West Pickens Street at the Pea Ridge High School parking lot entrance involving a vehicle driven by Joe Huffman Jr., 17, Pea Ridge, and Maritza Roma, 46, Pea Ridge. Huffman was cited for careless driving and failure to maintain control.

5:51 p.m. A resident on Hallack Lane reported two dogs running loose. One owner, Carrie Ann Faught-Temko, 33, Pea Ridge, was found and cited for dog at large. Police were unable to contact the owner of the other dog.

11:39 p.m. As a result of a one-vehicle accident on South Curtis Avenue, police arrested Robert Wayne Gorrell, 62, Rogers, for DWI.
