Monday, Dec. 31
9:31 p.m. Criminal mischief was reported by a resident on Washburn Drive concerning a Jeep driving through yards and damaging Christmas yard ornaments.
9:14 p.m. A reckless driver was reported on Ark, Hwy. 72 near Jac’s Ranch; as a result of the investigation, police warned Cody Ditto, 20, Gentry, for no tail lights.
Tuesday, Jan. 1
12:30 a.m. Loud music and a bonfire were reported by residents on East Watie Road; the residents were advised to turn down the music.
2:29 a.m. Agency assist to BCSO for an assault at a residence on East Harris Road involving marijuana.
2:44 a.m. Agency assist to BCSO at a physical disturbance at a residence on Lucas Lane with a weapon involved; police remained on the scene until a deputy arrived.
Thursday, Jan. 3
6 p.m. Police picked up a brown female bloodhound at Arvest Bank and took it to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.
Friday, Jan. 4
11:07 a.m. A resident of Hazelton Road reported someone had crushed his mailbox during the night.
11:30 a.m. A resident of Hazelton Road reported someone had damaged his mailbox during the night.
4 p.m. A resident of Lane Drive reported numerous dogs in his yard and he was concerned for the safety of children.
9:15 p.m. Assisted Sheriff’s deputies in attempting to locate a Pea Ridge resident for whom there was an outstanding warrant.
9:52 p.m. A resident of Lynn Drive reported a suspicious circumstance involving a call from someone claiming to be a sales person.
Saturday, Jan. 5
1 a.m. A resident of South Ridge Road reported a theft involving lug nuts off wheels of a truck.
9:30 a.m. A resident of Hickman Road requested assistance claiming her vehicle was broken down at Hayden Road and Barnes Circle; upon arrival, police were told the dog had gotten out of the car and the reporting party needed assistance in catching the dog.
10:39 a.m. A resident of Frost Street reported suspicious circumstance involving a truck parked near his residence; he also claimed winter coats were moved in his house and cookbooks were missing.
Sunday, Jan. 6
5:18 a.m. A resident on Turner Way reported someone had knocked on his door asking to be let in; upon arriving at the scene, police found Andrea Murphy, 26, of Pea Ridge, standing nearby wear- ing no shoes and a light-weight jacket despite cold temperatures. She claimed a man was molesting her 4-year-old son. As a result of the investigation, Murphy was arrested for public intoxication and filing a false report with a law enforcement agency.
9:38 a.m. An employee with HandsOn Chiropractic Clinic requested a civil standby while another employee is fired. Police reported they do not do civil standbys, but could serve a no trespass warning.
11:47 a.m. A resident of W.M.B. Franklin reported an aggressive dog running loose in the neighborhood.
1 p.m. A resident of Charles Street reported that someone repeatedly knocks on her front door about 10:30 p.m. and is not there when she opens the door.
2:40 p.m. a resident of Charles Street reported an aggressive dog and said the dog had chased him. One of the dogs nipped the officer’s leg. The owner of the dogs, Julie A. Drake, 37, Pea Ridge, was cited three times for dogs at large.
5:48 p.m. Assisted Rogers police in locating a former Pea Ridge resident.
6:33 p.m. Picked up a stray dog that a resident had caught in the parking lot at Marvn’s IGA. The dog was transported to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.
Monday, Jan. 7
6:30 p.m. A resident on West Pickens reported harassing communications involving a letter sent through the mail; it was determined that the letter did not come from the person from whom it was purported to come.
