Seligman Lions Club Dance scheduled

SELIGMAN, Mo. — Seligman Lions Club Valentine Dance will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at the Seligman Community Center, Main Street. Frosty Garland and the Road Hogs will provide the music.

NEBCO Chili Cook- off set

GARFIELD — NEBCO Chili Cook-off is from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the NEBCO Community Center, 17823 Marshall St., Garfield. Prices are $6 adults, $3 kids 5-12, children under 5 eat free, which includes “all you can eat chili” and drink. Desserts will be available.

Children’s Shelter seeks donors

The Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter needs donors to help give a dream room to the abused and neglected children of the area through its Adopt-A-Room program.

Program participants agree to provide the labor and material to decorate the room and allow the shelter’s management staff to approve the color choice and design. The basic furniture in the room is provided.
