Monday, Jan. 28

2 a.m. A resident of Fort Smith reported he believed his debit card was stolen at Dollar General in Pea Ridge. He reported charges made on it in Pea Ridge and in Rogers totaling nearly $500. Pea Ridge and Rogers police are investigat­ing. Rogers police cited Carolyn Cieszynski, 30, Pea Ridge, for felony theft of property and fraudulent use of a credit or debit card.

Tuesday, Jan. 29

5:09 a.m. Police received a report of an overturned Blazer on West Pickens Road near East McNelly Road and no driver or passenger around. Wandering around the vehicle was a pit bull bearing a collar with the same informatio­n on it as the owner of the vehicle. The keys were still in the ignition. Two mailboxes on West Pickens Road had been hit and damaged. The vehicle was towed and impounded and the dog was taken to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic. When police contacted the owner of the vehicle, Ricky White, 38, Bella Vista, said the vehicle had been stolen the night before. He claimed he had left the dog with the vehicle when he had a flat tire and ran out of gas on Fletcher Ridge Road in Missouri. A report was made with McDonald County, Mo., Sheriff’s Office.

11:30 a.m. A resident on West Pickens Road reported harassing communicat­ions involving text messages from another female. Police contacted the suspect who agreed to stop texting the woman.

Wednesday, Jan. 30

6:30 a.m. A physical disturbanc­e was reported at a residence on Conrad Street involving both a 10- and 12-year-old boys, both residents of the house. The boys were separated and consequenc­es of physical fighting were explained to them.

Friday, Feb. 1

7:52 a.m. Police assisted Little Flock Police at a three-vehicle accident on Ark. Hwy. 94 with traffic control as the road was completely blocked.

9:34 p.m. A resident on West Slack Street reported that someone had driven a vehicle through his fence, damaging the fence and allowing his horses to get out. He was unable to find the horses. Police found evidence of the suspect vehicle on the scene. On Saturday, Carl Barton, 32, Pea Ridge, went to the Police Department and reported he had run through a fence the previous night. Police contacted Barton on Sunday evening, he told police he didn’t report it to the property owner as he didn’t want to awaken them. He said he did not realize there were horses in the pasture. He was cited for leaving the scene of a property-damage accident and contacted the property owner about repairing the fence.

Saturday, Feb. 2

2:17 a.m. A disturbanc­e was reported at an apartment on Wade Lane; as a result of the investigat­ion, Marissa Rounds, 22, Rogers, was arrested on a misdemeano­r warrant from Rogers and transporte­d to Rogers police.

7:14 a.m. A resident on Ellis Lane reported a driveway accident. David Michael Milne-Jone, 34, Pea Ridge, reported he backed into an unoccupied vehicle owned by Dusty Marie Smith, 32, Centerton.

10:27 a.m. An alarm at Pea Ridge Primary School; a teacher reported she accidental­ly set off the alarm and didn’t know how to turn it off.

3:05 p.m. A resident of East Harris Street reported a disturbanc­e involving a 22-year-old man yelling at his father for not allowing him to drive his truck.

10:33 p.m. A resident of North Davis Street reported suspicious circumstan­ces saying there were several teen-age boys at the football field who appeared to be intoxicate­d. When police arrived, there were five boys, 15 and 16 years of age, who said they were just playing football. The curfew ordinance was explained to the boys, who were escorted home.

Sunday, Feb. 3

12:03 a.m. A 16-year-old girl was seen walking north of St. Clair Street wearing only shorts and a T-shirt in 42-degree weather; when police made contact with her, she said she had been at a teacher’s house and was walking to a friend’s house. She was returned to her guardian on DeGraff Road and the city’s curfew ordinance was explained to her.

3:41 a.m. A reckless driver was reported on Ark. Hwy. 72 on the west side of town. Police found the vehicle approachin­g Barris Lane. As a result of the investigat­ion, Bret Jones, 43, Bella Vista, was arrested for DWI and refusal to submit to a test.

10:45 p.m. Police assisted ambulance personnel at an unattended death on Patton Street.

Monday, Feb. 4

2:12 a.m. Police were asked to assist Little Flock Police at an apartment on North 22nd Street for a noise complaint.
