Pea Ridge High School

Thursday, Feb. 7 5-7 p.m. — A representative from NWACC will be available to help parents and senior students apply for the FAFSA (Free Application for Free Student Aid). There will be access to a computer so FAFSA online can be filled out. Bring tax information and also student’s tax information.

If attending the FAFSA workshop, call or e-mail Misty Harris at mharris@prs.k12.ar.us or 451-8182. Students may also sign up with Mrs. Harris in the library. This is a free service. Dinner will be provided.

Teens for Jeans

Gently-worn jeans are being collected for homeless teens. Jeans of any size can be dropped off at the Pea Ridge Intermediate School. Jeans will be collected until Feb. 10.

The top-collecting school will receive $10,000. Money collected will go towards Project Playground.

Applications being accepted for substitutes

Applications are now being accepted for substitutes. Packets may be picked up at the superintendent’s office.

Training will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, at the PD Lab (old elementary library) located on the Intermediate campus.

Training must be attended to be placed on sub list.
