Auction, craft fair and yard sale slated
EUREKA SPRINGS — A giant auction, craft fair and yard sale will be held from 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Friday, March 15, and Saturday, March 16, at the Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs.
Yard sale items are needed to sell. Donations are being accepted from March 11 - 16. Donations are tax deductible. The public can also set up yard sale tables at no cost, although donations to the Great Passion Play will be accepted.
Donations of items $50 or more will be part of a live auction at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 16.
Crafters are invited to set up a table at no cost; donations to the Great Passion Play will be accepted.
A bouncy house will be on site for children to enjoy.

Seligman country dance set
SELIGMAN, Mo. — Seligman Chamber of Commerce country dance will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at the Seligman Chamber Event Center, north on Mo. Hwy. 37. Music will be provided by Rick Morgan’s band “Beau Jest.”
Cost is adults $4 each. Snacks are optional. No alcohol or smoking allowed. Come and enjoy the family fun. Teens are admitted free.

“Welcome Home Veterans” picnic set
FAYETTEVILLE — The second annual “Welcome Home Veterans” picnic will be from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at the Pauline Whitaker Animal Science Arena, Ark. Hwy. 112 South (exit 66), Fayetteville. The event is sponsored by a coalition of veterans organizations in northwest Arkansas including the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, the U.S. Submarine Veterans and the Northwest Arkansas Women Veterans to name a few.
There will be food, entertainment and guest speakers. There will also be tables staffed by Veterans Support Organizations.
The public is encouraged to attend as well and donations to support this event will be greatly appreciated. Donations can also be mailed to WHV, c/o VFW Post 2952, P.O. Box 6154, Springdale, AR 2766. Checks should be made out to WHV c/o USS Snook Base/USSVI.
