Tuesday, March 12
9:50 a.m. Christopher Michael Watkins, 31, Pea Ridge, public intoxication.
4:51 p.m. A resident reported hearing shots fired near City Park; Benton County Sheriff’s deputies were notified; two males were found shooting handguns on property in the county.
7:35 p.m. A school employee reported four males playing basketball behind the Intermediate School and was concerned about safety
9:32 p.m. A reckless driver was reported on North Curtis Avenue; police were unable to locate the vehicle.
Wednesday, March 13
12:18 p.m. A dog ran into the roadway on Hayden Road and ran into the side of a police vehicle. The dog was caught and taken to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.
Thursday, March 14
4:10 p.m. A resident on St. Clair Street reported suspicious circumstances involving a male driving a vehicle the street taking photographs of children.
4:23 p.m. A resident of McNair Street reported an aggressive dog; it was captured and taken to Pea Ridge Veterinary Clinic.
11:58 p.m. Zachary L. Brown, 28, was arrested for felony possession of a controlled substance, felony posses- sion of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance. Police were dispatched to EZ Mart after a caller reported a male offered an Oxycotin to an employee at EZ Mart, he left as police arrived, but was stopped soon thereafter on Carr Street.
Friday, March 15
10 a.m. A resident of Davis Street reported harassing/terroristic threatening to her two minor daughters; information was passed on to school officials.
11 a.m. A resident of McRae Lane reported her dog’s harness was cut and her dog was missing; the dog was later located.
5:56 p.m. A resident asked about the city ordinance governing fireworks reporting that someone was shooting fireworks near Charles Street and Hazelton Road. Police saw a suspect from a distance, but the subject ran off before police could make contact.
Saturday, March 16
10:33 p.m. A resident of D.J. Duvall Street reported two teen-aged males dressed in black in the neighborhood and seen standing at the back door of a residence where they did not belong.
Sunday, March 17
1:40 a.m. Police assisted at a resident on McCulloch Street where a 22year-old male had attempted suicide; he was transported by Bentonville ambulance to a hospital.
4:34 am. A resident of Mary Phelps Drive reported terroristic threatening.
6:13 p.m. A resident of Smith Street reported her neighbor’s dog continually getting out of the fenced yard.
6:38 p.m. A female was at Pea Ridge Fire Department wanting to report harassment by her former boyfriend.
6:49 p.m. An employee of Sonic reported his former girlfriend had come to his place of employment and was harassing him.
