Seligman country dance set
SELIGMAN, Mo. — Seligman Chamber of Commerce country dance will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 21, at the Seligman Chamber Event Center, north on Mo. Hwy. 37. Music will be provided by Rick Morgan’s band “Beau Jest.”
Cost is adults $4 each. Snacks are optional. No alcohol or smoking allowed. Come and enjoy the family fun. Teens are admitted free.

‘Welcome Home Veterans’ picnic set
FAYETTEVILLE — The second annual “Welcome Home Veterans” picnic will be from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at the Pauline Whitaker Animal Science Arena, Ark. Hwy. 112 South (exit 66), Fayetteville. The event is sponsored by a coalition of veterans organizations in northwest Arkansas including the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, the U.S. Submarine Veterans and the Northwest Arkansas Women Veterans to name a few.
There will be food, entertainment and guest speakers. There will also be tables staffed by Veterans Support Organizations.
The public is encouraged to attend as well and donations to support this event will be greatly appreciated. Donations can also be mailed to WHV, c/o VFW Post 2952, P.O. Box 6154, Springdale, AR 2766. Checks should be made out to WHV c/o USS Snook Base/USSVI.

Swap meet planned
SELIGMAN, Mo. — Seligman Chamber of Commerce is planning a two day swap meet Friday, April 26, and Saturday, April 27. Make reservations now for a booth. There will be outside and inside booths at a cost of $30 for two days. inside space approximately 12 foot x12 foot. Outside not measured. Tables are available: Auto corral $10. This will be held at the Seligman Chamber Event Center north on Mo. Hwy. 37.

Seligman train ride to Van Buren scheduled
SELIGMAN, Mo. — Seligman train ride to Van Buren, Ark., will be Saturday, May 11. It will be Spring arts and craft days in Van Buren. Enjoy a three-hour shopping or looking spree, and music in the street.
